COLUMBIA, S.C., March 31, 2023 — Rhodes Branding, a leading marketing and branding agency for K-12 education, is proud to announce its partnership with WE LEAD, an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting female educators and professionals in the K-12 and higher education spaces.
Made public today at the Women’s Leadership Conference in Litchfield, S.C., by WE LEAD founder Dr. Lillie Cox and Rhodes Branding’s Director of Client Engagement Molly McGowan Gorsuch, the partnership aims to improve awareness of WE LEAD’s mission and drive more membership, expand its reach across the country, and effectively communicate with current members to increase engagement and awareness of the resources and support available to them.
“We are excited to partner with Rhodes Branding to expand our reach and impact,” said Dr. Cox. “Their expertise in marketing and branding and their understanding of the K-12 education space will be valuable assets as we work to raise awareness of our mission and empower more female educators.”
WE LEAD’s goal is for more women to reach executive positions in educational leadership and to successfully manage these roles for sufficient lengths of time to positively impact student achievement, as well as school and district culture.
“While working in a district a few years ago, I was encouraged to join WE LEAD by one of my female mentors in educational leadership,” said McGowan Gorsuch. “And I know WE LEAD’s mission resonates with our president and co-founder, who grew up watching his mother dedicate 17 years to the teaching profession.”
By providing opportunities for women in K-12 and higher education to network, support, and develop, WE LEAD helps participants build leadership skills, professional relationships, and insights into their futures as school and district leaders. The organization offers a variety of programs and services, including mentoring, professional development, and networking events.
“It’s thrilling for the Rhodes Branding team to begin work with WE LEAD, to amplify the organization’s reach to women in education who can benefit from its support and resources, as they advance their careers and influence in K-12 leadership,” said McGowan Gorsuch.
