Brittany Sinitch is a teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., where a gunman killed 17 students and staff members and injured many others on Feb. 14, 2018. Later that year, Sinitch won an online contest for an extreme classroom makeover worth $5,000 thanks to the generosity of Brittany Wheaton from @thesuperheroteacher and Lysol. From Aug. 6-10, Wheaton and her team came to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to renovate Sinitch’s classroom. The renovation, which was completed over five days, included new furniture, plants, artwork and freshly freshly painted walls among other things. Watch the video above for entire heartwarming story.
